Physiotherapy

Many horses can benefit from routine maintenance physiotherapy which involves treatment of the everyday niggles, osteoarthritis, back pain and musculoskeletal injury.

Physiotherapists treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal problems through soft tissue massage, manipulation, mobilisation of joints and electrotherapies.

Physiotherapy can help your horse in a number of ways:

  • Improve Performance
  • Prevent Injury
  • Enhance Mobility and Suppleness
  • Assist Rehabilitation from injury or surgery

A session is always followed up with an exercise programme for the owner to continue at home aiming at increasing flexibility, core strength and improving performance.
